A big part of Kristoffer Kvale's projects are based on his own thinking and when he make the projects himself he can express the design how he wants and choose how he wants to tell it. When he make a project like this he can make it however he want and choose the story.

When you have a client, you can't do this, because then you get limited things to follow. This is a thing I always do, I make projects from the ground myself to both get a nice portfolio but also to express what I want in the designs. I was actually looking for a bowtie for myself for a party I where going to attend, when I came to realize there wasn't much good websites that only based themselves on bowties. So I tried something new and based the design after bowties on a responsive and minimalistic way.

There was not really a big inspiration in this design. I googled bowtie and visited alot of websites to see how a bowtie can fit on a design. Pinterest is also a big source to find inspiration. I use it regularly to find inspiration. Then I use my own style to make it more personal.

I would say my design/concepts is something that stand out from the crowd, which is my goal. I would describe my style as minimalist, modern and a touch of simplicity. If you put it this way "my style is who I am". A big inspiration is Tobias Van Schneider he is just incredible!
