When one door closes, another one opens. Sometimes, failure inspires us to do something better. Our featured artist today has conceptualized this project because of an exam failure. Her initial goal was to take out the frustration and relax, but she ended up making great arts! We've seen her Sea Creatures and now we are in for her rooster and its friends. Have fun!

I would never make it if I didn’t fail my exam. I was so sad and in order to relax I started to create The Roosters. So now I’m actually thankful for failing.

This is my personal project, basically it was only for training my skills. It was a random thought to design my birds. First I wanted to make only one, but later he got some friends. I was trying to create different personalities for each of them: happy, surprised and narcissistic.

It’s a fully vector based image, made it with Adobe Illustrator and Wacom tablet. And it took me around a week to finish The Roosters.

  1. Greetings! Quick question that's entirely off topic. Do you know how to mawke your
site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when viewing from
my apple iphone. I'm trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this issue.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Many thanks!

  2. I like how these got their own personality, down to the expressions on their faces, even down to colors. Great illustrations

  3. Beautiful colors and so cute! Something like this is perfect to perhaps frame in your house as a nice, bubbly piece. Love it.
