Nordic apartment project is both design and visualization of the residential building interior located in Sweden. Apartment size is 83m2 where the main focus is to present an open concept, that includes the living room with kitchen and dining area in the Scandinavian style. Displaying minimalism, neutral pastel colors and materials, as well as decorations and details, presentably tribute the advantage of Scandinavian design.

The kitchen design is white and uncluttered with smaller black wall tiles. The dining room is intended to be suitable to kitchen, dominated by black metal chairs with wooden backrests and a dining table in the same style with the same split of materials, while two beige knitted chandeliers portray lighting in the room.

In the living room we have a light gray soft sofa, decorated with lots of pillows from neutral colors and two pillows with geometric patterns that complement the two wall paintings of similar style. Coffee and side table consist of simple design decorated with green plants, vases and pots in order to shatter the monotony of uniformity.

To start a project like this, documentation such as technical drawings (2D) with fundamental plans, various photo references, description of materials, colors, furniture designs, etc. is required in order to convert 2D drawings into 3D model. Of course, the project suffered a lot of revisions, amendments and adjustability in order to obtain the desired result. Experimentation with light, framing, materializing, the composition is all that needs to be applied in order for the project to be complete.

The programs used are 3D studio max, Vray rendering plugin and Photoshop combined with plug-ins such as Color Efex, Analog Efex etc. for minor color adjustments.
