30 Days with Animals by Marcin Usarek
Poland based graphic designer Marcin Usarek's latest project "30 Days with Animals" is a series of pictograms, a pictorial representation of statistics on a chart, graph, or computer screen. So, Marcin came up with 30 pictograms for 30 animals.
The choice of the theme of the project was spontaneous. One of many of my passions are animals, so I decided to introduce 30 different species of animals in the form of simple icons. I wanted to scrupulously adhering to the scheme on the grid. Each animal has its own unique character and just presenting it in a graphical way was for me the biggest challenge. Can I do it? You judge it.

To name a few, the series included a Bison - large, even-toed ungulates in the genus Bison within the subfamily Bovinae. A Quetzal - are strikingly colored birds in the trogon family. They are found in forests and woodlands, especially in humid highlands, with the five species from the genus Pharomachrus being exclusively Neotropical, while the single Euptilotis species is almost entirely restricted to Baja Verapaz, Guatemala. A Lion - one of the five big cats in the genus Panthera and a member of the family Felidae. A Hedgehog - any of the spiny mammals of the subfamily Erinaceinae, in the order Eulipotyphla.
