Previously UI Designer Roland Hidvegi had a chance to work on some brand related projects for Adidas. This time the new collection by Kanye West inspired the designer. He checked and there was no representation for that as a website or a microsite under Adidas global site, so that is why he thought that he can create a concept for that.

The project would like to represent the collection called Yeezy designed by Kanye West. So that is why the name. In my opinion the whole collection is fresh, unique and forward-looking. There is no representation for that under the adidas global site.

Previously I had a chance to work on brand related projects for Adidas, I loved it. That was the inspiration the fresh clothes and the brand. I researched everything what I found in the specific area such as clothing sites, web shops, adidas brand related things. As a second step I tried to collect all the visual components, photos about the collection and the designer Kaye while I listened his music. In the third step I created the visual langue what is in sync with this kind of feeling.

I used Sketch App when it is not crashed. I just saw the new Yeezy shoes. First I wanted to buy, but later I changed my mind like: maybe it would be better to create a concept around the collection. My son always asked me: Daddy when would we play again? So using the spare time spending with the family besides doing concepts is always a big challenge. The key visual the cover had some versions like 3 or 4. That the other pages created based on the defined way. In the optimal case the starting screen has all the components like grid system, typography, etc.
