Adventure Time by Juan Lopes
Illustrator, Juan Lopes was inspired by Adventure Time, thus the illustration. Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of Finn, a human boy, and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake, a dog with the magical power to change shape and size at will. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo.
When I was watching Adventure Time, I saw that the characters have a second version of themselves, and I liked so much of some versions! I wanted to made a fanart of the series, and I was trying to decide which character do, so i just think: "And if the two versions are in the same place? Yes , I like that". So I just picked the two versions of the same character and put in the same image together, preserving some elements that is common in them.

When I thought about how I should go about this, I wondered what they were. Two versions, one female , one male . I remembered Taoism concept , duality . With this in mind , i just put the two parts together.

I think that my inspiration are made of the littlest things. The show and a desire to make a tribute to him, my necessity to practice, the concept of Taoism, ramdom sketchs, and a desire to test a different style of illustration.

I want to make things that inspire other people in good ways, as well as the work of others inspired me.
