Architecture 151114 by Laurentz Patz
"Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase" photographer, Percy W. Harris said. Laurent Patz's Architecture 151114 or Architecture November 15, 2014 is a series of pictures of buildings. He wanted just like any other artist try different things and practice his skills. This project particularly was a way to see if he has an eye for architectural photography.
In this Project I wanted to combine the strict shapes and lines with the gaudy background color. The perspective and the colors let the photos look unrealistic.
Actually , I had no strong personal interests for this project. I just wanted to learn some new skills and play with the perspective.

I am always glad when people see an inspiration in my photographs. I don't have a text/description about this project. But the meaning is simple, I just like this combination of strict lines, shapes and the gaudy color in the background. This was also one of my first architecture projects. Unfortunately I don't see any personal reasons to develop this project further.

There were a few things accomplished with these. The background IS gaudy and the shapes are very intriguing to stare at!
Love the lines and the structure. I think you should continue to practice with architectural photography, Laurentz!
