I was asked to redesign a tourist guide magazine, for Athens, that is distributed in many luxurious hotels around the city. With the use of colour, i tried to create fun and playful pages, coming up with ideas for different themes and page layout.

On the other hand, i kept the text quite in line and together so it wouldn't lose the luxurious character i was asked for. So, this is the result and i hope you will enjoy it!

I began using Adobe Indesign to create the main page layout. I was based in two styles that i felt very free to play with everytime i turned a page. I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the photos and Adobe Illustrator to create some unique parts of the text applied as well as improving some of the ads.

My goal was to create something very different from the competition and i have to admit that my project was very well received. As a new designer i have learned a lot through this project. Commercial and marketing tips, everybody loves colour and that fresh ideas are not very likely to fail.

I was born in 1993 and raised in Crete, Greece. Curious for anything visually inspiring since a young age, I begun my journey studying Fashion Design with AKTO Art & Design College in 2011. Following two wonderful years exploring the ever evolving world of fashion, I moved on to the University of West Attica where I delved deeper into Graphic Design, with which I fell deeply in love.
