Aimée Suárez Netzahualcóyotl (Mexico City, 1990) is an artist. Human relations and everyday life interest her. She dialogues, connects, creates systems. She uses her own life as a starting point. She translates from one medium to another. She tells stories. She documents. She repeats. She uses resources such as writing and visual arts to materialize her work. She owns a Bachelor in Visual Arts by the Faculty of Arts and Design of the National Autonomous University of México. During this time, she was an exchange student at the University of California, Irvine in the USA. In the summer of 2018, she participated in the Artist in Residence Program offered by KulturKontakt Austria in Vienna and the Mexican Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes awarded her a Special Support grant. Since 2010, she has participated in group and solo shows in Mexico City and recently in Austria.
