Christina Heurig is an uprising art director, photographer and set designer based in Berlin, Switzerland and Czech Republic. She finished her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication design with her graduation project "Der Sandmann". Her photography skill set is mainly self-taught and combined with a strong affinity for storytelling. Her works focus on fine art, portrait photography, building miniature models for puppetry theatre and animation movies, as well as set design and art direction for theatre or movie scenery. Often, her skill sets lead her also into the wicked world of fashion and object theatre around the world. Essentially, she uses dark beauty, surrealism, mystery and phantasy elements to illustrate and explore emotional or cognitive layers of the soul. Storytelling and staging are her main tools to bring emotive, cinematic and intense stories to life.
