My name is Tommaso Migani and I come from Urbino, the Renaissance city located in the Marches, in central Italy on the border with Emilia Romagna. I graduated high school the historical school of art of Urbino in the experimental section of illustration and animated drawing. in the years of school I got passion into film and analogue photography, that I brought forward by enrolling after the new Academy of Fine Arts in Rimini in the photography section and visual arts. right now I am working predominantly analogue photography in particular on an interpretation of Urban unusual landscapes that, through the use of Film and Multi-Exposure, are revisited and altered in order to return to the user a more intimate and hidden of cities that become lighter, reaching a dimension which is that of sospesioni, utopian worlds where man's sign is not heavily anchored to the ground but still passing between the dream and the imaginary and reality and what is possible. Urban visions are an idealization of the city and of its lines, its style, its architectural portraits. Lines and profiles are altered and with a dynamism that reflects my concept of seeing the city from below. The urban landscape is something that is benefiting in the streets, it is a scenario where people often play a role of mere extras in the lives of others, becoming like extras in a movie: they are just passing through, what remains is the landscape, the buildings, places. The monumental buildings as static representation of the human, perhaps the real attempt to stop time through its places, the center in which people find security to be firm and to belong. Perhaps it is this historical period, with small daily changes and no certainty, of an apparent dynamism that hides a stillness almost obvious, perhaps it is my state of mind that makes me feel like a needy individual curiosity for the environment he lives and directs his gaze at the corners that no one stops to look at it for granted. In this project the urban architectural landscape is for this revised, altered, deprived of its certainties. it's a sistem wiew from the down, in the great flow of souls and bodies, observing the rooftops of the city, its windows, its very characteristic profile and its controversial similarities. A reality that is reflected Suggesting to itself new forms and views. New geometries without real physical mathematical duties, a suspension of what is "forced" heavily to the ground to get to the utopian dimension of the dream. Visions are perfect and unreal in this reality implied imperfect system. I'm a young Italian artist who has always loved photography and image, are concerned in particular the geometry that often man creates shaping the environment that surrounds it, so I talk about popular palaces and peripheral distinguishing features, but do not give up even to photograph landscapes natural, always fascinated by the majesty and perfect silence emanating from the vital. often analyze the human body through nude photographs where the bodies are reproduced and distorted on the same frame as two miserable stolen moments to individual peculiarities, his life and his emotions. I love photography because it captures every real moment, even when it lie, I love photography because it allowed us to remember and to better describe, in an objective but a personal story, each story: that of a body without a name, any individual's chance of a crowd or the crowd on that same day. There of course describes the signs of aging and is a witness of change and the end of entire eras. I like it because it is ruthless and does not compromise when it speaks, she is a time machine, she is a Love Machine. camera is only a real box of dreams that allows this contact with reality. you can not remain disappointed if through her love spy on the life and the time of others. she gives you automatically to the time through itself.
