Baby Monsters by Roc Espinet
Baby Monsters (Adorable Creatures) is a project Roc Espinet's doing with the writer Damian, the comic book is about the adventure of being parents in an exaggerated reality where the kids become monsters at night. The funniest part of all the project was create the monsters depending on their baby personalities.
My inspirations are very different. I´m a comic reader since I was a kid because my parents always bring treasures such Moebius, Hugo Pratt or Harold Foster at home. Actually, for my comic projects I follow huge talents as Cyril Pedrosa, Edujante, Amelie Flechais, and I watch every Cartoon Saloon or Ghibli movies!

For aspirating artist I will recommend to, obviously, working hard every day, and to be patient, not expecting an immediate reward. Be honest about what you´re doing and above all never, ever, give up. Although all it seems lost, and it feels that you can´t reach it, just keep going! That´s the key ;)

Since I studied Fine Arts at Barcelona University I have illustrated books, have done character design for TV shows and have made comic books! Always looking for stronger images and solid drawings, always studying in order to get better results ;) I also have been working as an animator in TV shows, movies, advertising and videogames, always learning and experimenting with animation principles and challenging myself!

I also like to share all the knowledge I manage to get! I have been teaching at University and some art schools. I’m always trying to transmit my enthusiasm in making characters come to life!
Actually I´m working for a Disney XD show called Future Worm! That´s totally krazy! Love it!

About Roc Espinet
Roc Espinet is a comic artist, animator and illustrator. As far as he can remember, Roc have always liked drawing and storytelling. He always remember his primary class desk full of pencil drawn stories, until the teacher made he clean them! He studied Fine Arts and animation at Barcelona University.
