Harald Klingenberg's project "Baroque Worlds" is the development of previous experiments that he's been working up, since three years ago when he read a book named "The Sensitive Chaos" from author Theodor Schwenk. In it, he describes the formative forces of water and the interaction with elements that flow into it.

About the design of the project, my idea is to show in an aesthetic way these forces of nature (water), relying mostly in the beautiful forms that are the outcome of chance.The inspiration, as I said before, is Theodor Schwenks book.

The edge of this concept compared to others, is that in most art expressions, the artist has complete control over his work. On the contrary I wanted that chance also had its opportunity and that these creative forces of water could express themselves, restraining my contribution only to mixing pigments with oils and other different media, select a combination of colours, throwing them into the water tank and finally taking a photo of all that. And at last, choosing the few pictures that look good!

I would say that my "style" is to be able to show with the help of a photograph, different things that are around us but that we don't see. I like photographs that are on the edge of abstraction, but where you can still discover the provenance of the image shown.

I don't think I could give any advice to other artists, I think every path is very personal and have different ways to develop and grow and everyone has to find his own way. I used a Nikon D800 digital camera and Photoshop (only to give a little contrast and colour correction).

Harald Klingenberg, after going to school went into university, to try to find out a career that could help him express in the best way, how he understand art, so he went through aesthetics studies, graphic design, painting, photography and film making. Finally he got a master's degree as a designer. His professional life began working in advertising agencies as a graphic designer, tv spot producer and photographer.
