When I was commissioned the Bomblerka website I thought here's gonna be a site that will be truly fun. Why? Because the company is all about the improvement of quality of parties so you could enjoy them more. They rent out all of the accessories such as photo booth, balloons, light, love sign, surprise gifts etc. Thats why the website needed to reflect this fun theme. The competition was tough but the bold colours, custom made graphics and icons and unique branding made the website stand out among the crowd. Take a look for yourself: www.bomblerka.pl
Bomblerka is pure fun and that's what the branding and website is reflecting. The colours are vivid, contrasting and simply hard to pass by. All of the custom made icons consist of violets and are finished with ultra greens. Despite being built of many elements they work both on dark and light backgrounds. The style guide of all the assets such as buttons and tiles work alike: line is filled with the colour and shifted upwards. Site has also a custom made google map. Thinking of mobile first the navigation on mobile devices was created like one in application because there were only four tabs which made them truly accessible. The website if fully responsive.
The tools used in these project was Adobe Photoshop for web design, Adobe Illustrator for logo and icon set, Adobe After Effect and Adobe Premiere for the additional animations. I started off with colour scheme that could be used both in print and online. Vivid accent colour used on website was obtained with fluorescent green spray that covered for instance the business cards edges. The icons were designed the way so they can be easily animated. Here's an example: http://bomblerka.pl/balloons.gif
Bomblerka got noticed really fast thanks to the unique website and all the feedback was positive. The branding that shows through on social media is being very well received. People like the animations that come with the project. The fluorescent edges on business cards gets noticed quickly and shows how all the small details of the brand identity corresponds together.
