Fruits and vegetables are excellent for the health but too often we content ourselves to eat them without trying to find other flavors. A juice extractor allows to mix different fruits and vegetables in order to make healthy and full of taste drinks. Through this project, I wanted to work on my different grahic expression tools in order to generate different concept in a given time.

I wanted to create an easy-to-use juice extractor offering the user the opportunity to drink his juice, take it away or store it in his fridge using a single container. I analyzed three environments that seemed to me interesting. "TECHNI CHIC" places the juice extractor in a high-end environment with dynamic lines, the presence of black color and copper details in order to remind the cooking utensils of the various great restaurants. With "NATURAL REFINED" we move into a more warm, more nature-conscious world, a desire for simplicity and natural materials like wood, adding contrast to details with a navy blue that brings the technical side of the product. KINDY POP reveals the fun side of summer and smoothies by mixing acid colors, rather round lines and more graphic work.

I started by analyzing the different utlisitateur that I could touch with this product. This allowed me to create different moodboards with different atmospheres, shapes, colors and lines for each user. Each moodboards has its universe well defined and this allowed me to create a database in order to start my phase of formal research. After being inspired by different lines, shapes, product architecture, I go into the phase of ideation where my goal is to get out the most concept quickly without curbing my creativity. Once I think I have enough material to move forward, I take a step back on my ideation in order to pick up three concepts for each corresponding user. I work a little more detail so that they correspond well to the environment in which I wish to place them. Then I use illustrator to represent them more concretely in volume with the right colors and material effects which allows me to choose with more certainty the final concepts. Then I work the 3D with Solidworks and Keyshot in order to make the product more concrete working on the volume, the materials and the graphical aspects. Finally I create the latest images with photoshop in order to put the product in its environment so that people can project more easily on those that could be the product.

It was funny to see people's opinion. As i give them the choice between different environnement, they explained me why they prefer this one and not the other one, and if it was for there grand mother they would take this one ... The debates were quite fun !

And you which one would you use to make your delicious smoothies this summer ?
