Alexander Yukhimets' project "Cabin B-13" was designed as a recreational suburban cabin. The cabin "B-13" is located in the forest by a river and matches the environment. It is made from such natural materials as concrete, wood and glass.

The cabin with floor-space of 90 m2 is very spacious and includes kitchen studio, bathroom and bedroom. It has also maximum of open space and a balcony with the view to a river and BBQ area. Big panoramic windows encourage you to unite with nature, ecology around and sounds of forest enable a person to rest from the city and enjoy active pastime during cosy evenings.

I have done this project in 2014, during my studies. That time I was in search of personal rendering style, while working on student projects I was looking through large number of references for design, and questioning myself doing everything only by means of 3D or to work through in Photoshop, the second option was chosen. I indeed wanted to do something interesting, to make visualizations to hook people and pass the atmosphere, as it is the main issue.

It was not required to toil at design task, usually reviewing plenty of reference projects - you becoming inspired, thus you promptly create a picture in your head, how approximately would your future project look like, afterwards it is left the project to be realized.

I am finding inspiration in music and watching interesting projects, which are plenty in recent years. From CG artists, is one of impressing personalities Viktor Fretyan, also other artists from the MIR.no team. In fact exist a big amount of cool, not well-known works from the CG artists and designers, who you easily can find on behance and other resources, which are inspiring.

I would advise to young artists to experiment more and to search their own style and character, especially nowadays present large amount of open resources for development of individual taste, as well tutorials for 3D visualization, which in recent years more and more, good luck!
