Cafe "BonBon"
“BonBon” is a café specialized on elite desserts, gastronomic sandwiches with high-class filling and varieties of coffee and tea. As well, there are different soups and salads. All menu consist of chef’s recipes. The café concept is a Russian food, but significantly modified in step with the times.
The main part of the logo - cocoa beans - are frequent constituents of "BonBon"s desserts, and they looks good in logo, in that sketch style, which emphasize the simple atmosphere. Other logo's details - the Russian Khokhloma pattern, it means the “Russian soul” of café, in sketch style too. The main color in that brand is red, bright and flashy, like the cafe itself. In “Bonbon’s” brand there are also patterns of seasonings and spices, for accent on "BonBon" character.
I used Abobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Wacom Bamboo Tablet and my sketchbook. Firstly, I draw different variants of logo in sketchbook and some of them in Illustrator with graphic tablet. After agreement with my client and choice one variant, I sketched all patterns and applied it on mockups, for clarity.
My client likes this project, and very soon "BonBon" will come to life. This cafe open now, but without clear brand. It was my first experience in cafe branding, and it was amazing for me. I definitely want to work with one more project like this.
