Calendar Watch Concept
This is a convenient app concept for a modernised digital calendar, which shows you a faster monthly statement. From creating an event over a micro to the weather overview, the calendarwatch includes all important function for building your own calendar.
A few months ago I bought myself an apple-watch for some testing. Honestly I was not pretty impressed overall and one reason was due to the fact that the standard calendar of IOS hasn't done enough to show a fast daily overview. And that was exactly the point on which I think the watch still has it's potential.
For the name, I wanted to convey the role that these gadgets are playing in our lives. That is where the "Calendar" term comes in. These calendar watches are the tools for our daily notifications.
For the structure of the app design, I started with some sketches of the app overview (raw layout) on my iPad Pro and thereafter I used Adobe Illustrator for the UI kit. The rest of the pieces of the concept, such as the visual mockups editing were done in Adobe Photoshop.
I've increased some user interface skills during this project. I've received some feedback from other designers on behance and other resources.
