The objective of this project was to create an identity and product line for the skin care company, Charmé. They are a young urban company located in Culebra, Puerto Rico specializing in natural ingredients that are sourced locally. They asked for a brand experience that would be charming and make their consumers keep coming back for more.

This identity was inspired by the tropical nature Charmé lives within. The brand encompasses a tropical, lively and lush nature. The color palette used was inspired by Culebra’s brightly colored homes and stores. The brand’s packaging is easily recognizable and creates a strong personality that gives off a relaxed island vibe.

Abobe's Photoshop and Illustrator were used to create this project. I first researched common textures and imagery found in Culebra and from there, I created the repeating palm design you see. I then created the logo and the color scheme and applied it to the bottle mockups. They were looking a bit plain so I decided to implement the palm design in a gold color to make it pop against the pink. I then worked on the rest of the items you see including the website, bag, and tin.

People loved the final design and the tropical feel I wanted to communicate really worked. Viewers see the products as fun and new and have really liked the brand I have helped visualize. Viewers really enjoyed the palm textile design.
