Rodrigo is a swimmer athlete, who practices 6 days a week, around 3 hours a day. So we decided to enhance the physical body and the sports effort in an environment that reminds the swimming pool, with a different color twist.
I’ve been doing model developing for a while, and this time I really felt I needed to push my self out of my comfort zone. So I decided to go to the studio a create a very different lighting from what I have been previously doing.
I used Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. I basically just did little touch ups on the color, to adjust to the exact tones that I had in mind. I also did a little touch up on the skin, because I think that male models are way more comfortable when they are not wearing make up to cover skin imperfections.
I’ve been having good feedback from the people who have seen in! Male portrait and fashion photography is a field that really needs more attention from the public and has a lot to be explored. Absolutely, there’s a lot to explore on colorful lights.
