The meaning behind Willian Matiola's the artworks "Colorful Animals Posters" focuses in the powerful animals and express that in a colorful way. The idea came from his girlfriend and then he used his design skills to create them.

I used only Illustrator to do the artworks and photograph of the animals to extract the general form of them. The watercolor style was made using default brushes in Illustrator and a lot of creativity. Each one takes between 3h-4h to be done.

There is not a specific inspiration behind this project. My girlfriend and I starting a brainstorm about the animals that all persons like and then we decided use four to start: panda bear, wolf, fox and moose.

I don't have a specific style but I really like to work with a lot of colors in my projects. I don't have a specific inspiration too. For each project I try find new inspirations. Develop your own method to do your projects based in pre-existing methods. You can break the rules if you know them. Never give up if the things seems to hard, because certainly you are in the right way. Nobody said that Design is easy.
