. Container villa is located in a resort in Phu Quoc, Viet Nam.
. Area: 72,4 sqm
. Phu Quoc is famous for its natural ecosystem and attracts a lot of tourists annually. The container villa will focus on sharing new experiences and bringing the different cultural experiences to tourists.
. Design orientation: Simplify container language in order to preserve distinct architectural beauty although still overcome the limitations of height space of traditional containers.
. Using many kinds of modern materials (steel, glass, sheets…) combined with local materials (bee stone, natural wood…).
. The design concept is “open maximum”, which will be in harmony with nature.
. The entire scene was modeled and rendered in Sketch Up 2017 with V-ray 3.4 for Sketch Up. Then, I used Photoshop CS6 to adjust color and lighting slightly. The first step is sketching the concept in hand drawing. It helps me arrange the plan with all the needed spaces. Then, I modeled the villa in Sketch Up with basic material until the shape is alright. After that, I set up materials: glass door, wood panels, walls… To help the scene become realistic, I put some trees and flowers in the landscape and use HDRI to render.
With this project, I received lots of feedback from my friends, my clients… I have chances to know more about some materials that I never known before. I have more experiences to work better for my next project. After finishing this project, I feel proud and have the confidence to do new things.
