Slovakia native Michal Nagy's series "DARK HORSE" reflects a change in the photographer's work. Before this project, he was dedicated more to dark conceptual photography, which was inspired by the very dark corners of the human soul. The title, "DARK HORSE" is inspired by one song he was often listen to when he feels that his life needs change.

Like most people, I was also afraid of change. Exactly about this is a song with the same name like my project. I replaced the dark with light, where everything is pure white with details, which symbolizes a departure from dark thoughts. The first part of DARK HORSE I made around 4 months ago is consisting of two photographs. But each further series, even with new name, will be always for me DARK HORSE.

The essential feature of my creation is that I'm always trying to put the story behind each one photo. My work is somewhere between art and fashion photo. I think that people should throw away the stereotypes and try to create something that gives them meaning, because this is what makes us unique.

I don't think I'm the best person suitable to give advice about art to other people, because I also still have to learn about a lot of things. For me, every photography or art work is very important to have some meaning inside and make people feel something. Currently I'm using on Canon 7D. For photo editing I'm using Adobe Photoshop along with Wacom tablet.
