Das Kreative Haus by Burkhard Müller
The project by Burkhard Müller started back in 2014 together with Florian Schommer and Benedikt Bockshecker. They had the vision of a new visual language for their agency. As deepblue unites a variety of different skilled people under the roof of one building, they came up with the idea of a creative house (in German Kreatives Haus).
We illustrated the 8 letters of the companies name D E E P B L U E inspired by the architecture of our agency and added tiny animated characters telling fun stories of our daily work experiences on Behance.

The feedback on the illustrations was pretty amazing and we decided to proceed. We wanted to get people in touch with the CREATIVE HOUSE every day. Therefore we put the magnifier on the letter-buildings and opened the instagram account @kreativeshaus. From the 1st of may 2015 on we publish a character from our creative house showing employees, people that inspires us or just random stuff we laugh about.

All illustrations are drawn by hand, even when they look like vectors it was important for us to give them a handmade touch you can not achieve with illustrator. We got inspired by early 90s video games, isometric art.
