The inspiration for the Aesthetics was an organic twist on current Ei Products allowing it to maintain a family product appearance. The biggest challenge faced when designing the Deaf Alarm was the user interface. To communicate the warning of Fire, Carbon Monoxide, Low Battery and Radio Link is a simple yet effective way. In a fire situation the user should be able to distinguish what the problem is instantly, as time is of the essence.
