Dieselpunk Utópico - "B612"

This project shows a spaceship based in a little story named "Campaña Publicitaria" by Philip K. Dick.
The majority if this story takes place in space so I thought it was a really good idea to make a spaceship/motorcycle kind of thing.
The style wasn't randomly chosen, my teacher actually told me to base the whole design in two styles: Dieselpunk (Utópico in spanish) and Steampunk, which used a lot of metal, copper, glass and iron, combined with pastel colors and a lot of different (and dirty) textures.
This was made, entirely, with a software called Autodesk 3D Max (2017).
The first step was to try to "draw" (or design) the morphology of a spaceship but only using basic shapes so then could be manipulated with a lot of modifiers.
Once I was happy with the outcome, I started experimenting with different textures and materials.
I did learn a lot with this project because this was the first time I've ever done something like this, I didn't even know the software so I was really glad with the outcome.
People loved it when I told them that I made the spaceship from scratch, tho I had to explain to them what the aim of the work was.
