Pin-up illustrator Ariadna Herrera felt like she needed to explore some new expressions for her characters, to enrich her illustrations. So she decided to do the same she did when she was a kid learning to draw.. look at Disney's movies and learn from the masters.

Disney's "The Little Mermaid" was my inspiration, of course, Ariel was my idol when I was a kid! I love her youthful personality and how expressive she is, that's why I thought she was perfect for this practice :) My style is sweet and colorful, I also like to add a touch of eroticism but without showing anything explicit. I have a lot of artists I admire but my most important inspirations are Disney, manga comics and Marilyn Monroe, I guess you can see a bit of each in every illustration I make.

Draw a lot and HAVE FUN doing it! You don't have to be worried all the time about what you need to improve, just enjoy what you do and with time you'll get better. I think you can feel it when someone has enjoyed doing an illustration and that gives something "special" to that drawing ;)
