emerchantpay is a leading online, mobile and POS payment service provider. They help eCommerce businesses within the retail, travel, gambling, forex and financial services sectors accept payments via multiple customer touchpoints.
It had become clear to emerchantpay that their brand identity had become tired and needed revitalising to keep pace with the fast moving payments industry. A marketing audit revealed inconsistency across all touchpoints.
We uncovered early in the process that flexibility was a key attribute to the business, something that other payment providers couldn’t lay claim to. Using this as our platform we then set about creating a new logo and identity system. We also created a suite of custom iconography and developed a host of online and offline marketing content to help drive the new brand forward.
After agreeing with the emerchantpay team the core idea behind the brand identity, we put together moodboards of what this could look like. From this point we sketched out several logo concepts, then redrawing in Adobe Illustrator. We then moved on to creating an iconography style also using Adobe Illustrator and a wider supporting graphical language using a combination of Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop.
The new brand and identity launched this summer. It has been celebrated internally by all it’s staff members who now have a modern identity they can get behind, making them feel excited and energised. The new brand has also welcomed externally by existing emerchantpay’s existing partners and wider public.
