This was one more try to improve the quality of some environment ideas. In this case, I liked the setting and made a few more shots and I think it´s good to bring every idea at least to one final rendering.

The motivation was improve my forestpack-skills and try working with colormaps, which worked out pretty fast and easy.
Also really like to work on realistic envrionments and always try to push it further to fotorealism, which most of the time is inspired by great fotographs or just by looking out of the window.

I used 3dsmax, Vray , forestpack and Photoshop.
The house and the scene is a quite simple geometry and the main issue about this work is forestpack.
I used the function "viewport-canvas" inside max, to paint my maps in the viewport, directly on the ground surface.
Then it´s just choosing the right plants and place them where the color is, always checking the inpiration fotos I searched for before.
Evermotion has a great collection wich I can greatly recommend and I´m also working with GrowFX to create some unique plants if I need them.

Many people liked this one. I was surprised, cause it just took about 8 hours at all, wich makes me very happy ?
I learned to use forestpack of course and still see alot of work to do for more fotorealism.
Finally I learned that colormaps work fine, but the function of Area-painting by forestpack brings you to the same result, but gives you much more control and fun to use.

I made this project at the lichtecht company in hamburg. Check them out ?
