Facebook Redesigning Concept
This is the redesign concept of the current Facebook app. I have tried an entirely different design style from the current one. Used a gradient colour combination that matches the current design trends. The profile screen style has changed from the current one, removed the cover photo concept and changed the layout.
Being a frequent Facebook user, i have always been awed by its well structured salient features. But, I felt it lacked a bit of that X factor. Also, Facebook's style and theme hasn't been updated since ages. Im also trying to bring it up onto the latest trends and colours.
The tools used for this designs are Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I have researched the latest design trends and incorporated all the guidelines and UX principles during the development of initial mockup for the design of the new Facebook app.
Frankly, I didn't expect such an awesome reaction from viewers. Got many pleasing comments, about colour schemes, gradients, User Interface etc. Even got a few comments from top class designers that i actually follow myself. Finally, I learned what the current trend actually is and that the design field is a vast area to research upon.
