Fantastic Four Vector by Orlando Arocena
Below is a vector tribute consisting of various doodles, vector sketches, time lapse and final artwork paying tribute to the Fantastic Four and Dr. Doom by illustrator Orlando Arocena. See and enjoy his artwork!
I've always been a big fan of the Fantastic Four and its main nemesis- Dr. DOOM. I think what attracts me most to the Four and separates this group of altered humans from all the others is the "Family" aspect.

You see, growing up in the Bronx/NYC, my mom always told us- " we have to be like the Fantastic Four (it was her + my older brother + my older sister & me) - and we have to watch each others back, with what makes each unique" - something which I will continue to do til my last breath.

As for the recent theatrical adaption, I'm not going to go into whether it sucked or rocked my world. But what I will say about it, is this: I've never been one to have my actions and intentions be heavily swayed by critics but for me , being a fan, its ALWAYS sheer enjoyment to see these four in action.

Never give up. Learn and Study Art History- it's vital to know the many styles and influential art movements that came before you. Invest in your craft- take the time to explore and build a unique creative voice without having to copy someone else. And if you do copy someone's style, then do the respectful thing and honor them by mentioning them alongside your work. Try to make your mistakes work for you. Learn to understand the benefits of criticism. And ALWAYS have fun when you take the time to create.
