This flower pot concept was part of my bachelor’s thesis. During my thesis I made bunch of concepts for a Finnish hardware company. This flower pot, which you can hang on a wall with the help of the back plate was my favorite.

I have always been interested in growing herbs and flowers. I live in a small apartment building, and I don’t have too much space for growing plants. I came up with the idea to hang the planters on the wall so they don’t take the space from the counters and tables. The pots have small peg on the back side, which you slide to the back plate to hang the pot.

  3. I'm at a loss for words. These are beautiful, magical images. These pots are amazing and stylish especially the pots with the flat corner which hang up on the wall. I would love a couple to hang up on my office wall!

  5. Great idea! I can see this in my own place but as a seasoned home gardener, I would like to know the dimensions of each pot. Plants, even kitchen herbs, need depth for good root growth. Also, is there any provision for drainage to prevent root rot?

  6. I agree with all the above posts. These pots are really elegant and stylish and they allow you to grow your own herbs and have something artistic at the same time. I'm wondering how easy they are to water though. If they are high up do you have to unpeg them each evening in order to water them? In any case they are fabulous and I'm surprised no one has come up with the idea before. I would love a couple to hang up on my wall!

  7. Great ideas! I'm always on the lookout for different ways to allow people to have plants in their houses or apartments, be it large or small. And this is a very nice design. And it sounds so easy to do, perfect.

  8. Great idea, I really really like the concept of this project since we must remember to take care of the Earth.
It's also aesthetically pleasing so I think people won't mind putting it in their homes.

  9. Its a really cool idea, especially for apartments or city living.. If you don't have a garden there is still no reason why you can't have a small green paradise of your own, inside! Think its time for me to get started ;)

  10. So after TV's, it's the turn of plants that will be able to get mounted on walls. Hehe :) The concept is fantabulous. Excellent choice of colors on the flower pots. The first pot design in the series with those edgy corners is quite unique. Would love to have some of them adorn my house if I could.

  11. I like the style of the pots with the flat corners but also the functionality of the round ones that can be removed easily. It would be great for growing herbs. I'm actually thinking of doing something like that now for my tiny condo. I like the idea of the wall mount because you can place it on a wall with the best sunlight. Also doubles as wall-art and doesn't take up any counter space. Thanks for this great idea!
