Born in 1985, Florian Lévy evolves in his own artistic world made of photography, graphic design and various types of work. His background in jewelry, knowledge of art history and design shine through his creations. In 2001, Florian begins to self-train in image editing and eventually becomes, in 2008, a freelance graphic designer. Nowadays he mainly focuses on developing his proper artistic talent using the label of “creative”. His graphic and minimalist works are intensified in his own way with strong editing and digital painting. His sensitivity is exulted in metaphors and allegories full of plant and esoteric symbolic.

Satirical is the critique of modern society, human relationships are faced with our beliefs, life, death, powers, technology, love or sex. So many concepts explored with a hand for personification. It is a symbol of donation and paradoxically domination. Freehand - meaning "à main levée" in French (understand "hand lifted") - point out the aerial compositions but also supports the notion of digital painting since performed using a graphics tablet, freehand. Cartels inlaid at the bottom right on the visual of the series are reminiscent of the periodic table of chemical elements, also called Mendeleev table. As an imaginary continuation of the 118 items listed, the themes are singled out and hide a double symbolic reading. "Let go" invites to letting go of our fears and unconscious enchained us.

I can't look at the first picture... they trigger my needle phobia and make my hands feel weird.
That's deep. Florian Lévy, after looking at his portrayal of real life concepts through his Freehand project looks to be a creative monster and a thinker. I mean just look at the way he is conveying the realities, concepts and problems of the world in the most creative and satirical way. Was particularly impressed by how he made the use of the way the chemical elements in the Mendeleev periodic table are written, in his designs.
This is amazing concept of free hand. Florian depicts all the aspects of our life in free hand design. I love the way you mention every picture with notion using periodic table sign. I would love to see more designs.
