Fusion stools came as an idea how to have one stool, but if it needed to have two from the same one - two in one. Inspired as nomadic usable seating furniture where both usability and function are merged in one form. Composed of two similar stools which lower one has the rifts on solid top and second taller stool full solid top supported on four legs each. One stool is made with rifts on seating board and second stool can be placed on first stool just passing the legs through holes. Central holes are placed for easier handling the stools with fingers.

The idea came with concept how to have maximum in minimum - how to have one item but if it is needed to have two or more. In the times where living spaces are smaller and smaller the idea having a usable product as stools which can be easily placed in space without assembling and disassembling becoming appreciated. From beginning I wanted to use solid wood because wood it is very warm material and gives a special relationship with users. Shape of Fusion stools started to be very simply in the way there is just board and legs of one stool but to have more organic way I used curvation as a pattern to make more line appearance. I did not wanted to use any color for the stool, just left natural color and textures of the wood which was protected with natural oil and waxes.
Stools in the same way can be a coffee tables. It can be in this way: stool+stool, stool+coffee table and coffee table+coffee table.

As any design i do, first I start with hand sketches and then I use computer drafting software application where I make an accurate drawing model. On prepared solid wood boards I sent drawing to the Computer Numerical Control router where machine cut as it is in the drawing and then cutted pieces goes to further processing as are chamfering elements, sandblasting and protecting wood from moist. After all operations pices are going to be permanently assembled and final sandblasting and at the end coated with oil and waxes or it can be with wather warnich.

They took it as surprise because there is not similar product on the market. This is just a first step of this kind of product, soon I will make different modules with the same concept. I have learned that if you want to have a good product than it is not just enough to have a good design, you need to know all levels of manufacturing or product will be inconsistent. If you doing with wood you need to know about moist of the wood, than how to protect not to have a bend wooden boards then to have cuted right elements, then how to give a final touch to the product. You need to learn a lot if you want to do in this field of design, but if you are doing in pallet of materilas than things start to be more challenging.
I would like to keep going with the similar concept in product and industrial design because it is somehow a challenge to make things that can save a extra space and be usable just in two moves.
