Illustrator Alexandre Godreau use to work for an agency with G-Shock France. G-Shock is a brand of watches manufactured by Casio, known for its resistance to shocks (e.g. hard knocks and strong vibrations). Its full form is Gravitational Shock. They are designed primarily for sports, military and outdoor adventure oriented activity; nearly all G-Shocks have some kind of stopwatch feature, countdown timer, light and water resistance.

In my agency I use to work for G-Shock France. We make photography and put them on Social Medias (facebook, instagram,...) So I just to show the resistant side of each watche with this design. First, I made a little sketch and then I put it on Illustrator. Then on illustrator I draw the outlines, add some colors, and then I add shadows and lights.

As they told us G-Shock is a very strong watch and I want to show that side so I decide to work on 2 versions (Break the wall and Jurassic) both watches seems out of the wall. The concept was to send a message without any text! Show the idea of strength without tagline or other!

I think I got a little comic style. You know, with black lines, simple colors, lights and shadows. I really can't tell who my inspirations are. It can be an artist on Behance or something I see in the street during a walk. I think inspiration is everywhere.
