Gro is a newly established juice producer that specializes in organic cold-pressed vegetable juices. It produces the purest and rawest juice possible, no preservatives, non pasteurized and without any form of additives. Gro asked Glasyr to design a visual identity that represented his values of honesty and pro organic farming. They needed an identity for the product that could penetrate the higher end of the juice market.
We wanted luxury through simplicity. Glasyr created a visual identity that expresses the organic with a pinch of luxury. The see-through label on the bottle visualizes the honesty of the brand. Gro means grow in danish and the concept of the logo represents growth. The middle letter is enlarged to visually represent this. A pattern was designed as an abstraction of the process of making juice, the mixing of liquids within.
It was important with and for this brand that there was something handmade, or crafted in it, to make it more honest and pure. So, the pattern of the logo is handmade. After we made some sketches, we used Illustrator and Indesign to finalize the project.
The visual identity we designed, has helped Gro to get market shares and get a lot of attention. As a design company, we are really happy to see that. The company went from one to five employees within the very first year on the market. Nowadays, they are still growing.
