“Happy Address” is a company that manages vacation rentals on Playa del Carmen and Tulum in Mexico.
This project has two different targets: the property owners and the people who are renting the properties to enjoy a great vacation. We created the companies’ name based on the feeling that both of them share, when you are an owner and you property gives you money back, or when you are enjoying a vacation on a great Mexican beach, you can definitely refer to that location as a “Happy Address”.

The color palette, typography selection and illustrations that we made as part of the branding solution represent pure happiness. Right from the beginning e wanted to make something simple, even childish. It was impossible not having fun while working with such a happy project.

We did a photoshoot with props and then edited them on photoshop to make these happy characters. Everything just sort of revolves around that. The elements used are things you would find in a regular house: food, toaster, jars, etc. The rest of the elements are simple textures and plain colors.

It was a relief to work on a project and have this kind of freedom. The client was very open and we got to do something out of the ordinary. Usually for a project of this sort, it would be expected to make something very formal and serious, but with our approach we believe are shifting the rules.
