Harajuku by Susana Rodrigues
Susana Rodrigues' project "Harajuku" is something that she came up at random, she was looking around the net and saw that many were doing modern Disney princesses and so she decided to give her own twist to it.
I research a lot for sites with good pictures and the fashion trend that I want to draw. Inspiration... Not many, I do a lot of random things, I just let my mind flow. Many of my inspirations are old school artists like the folks at UPA, old school disney- Milt Khal, Tom Oreb, and the current folks mostly 2 Laurens Faust and Montgomery.

My advice is- train a lot, dedicate hours and hours to your work, to evolve and learning, do things you want to do but mostly do things you don't want to do, and also if you are going to copy someone do it as a study and not as a way to promote your self and claim it as yours. Pretty much it, there is no secret or magic, is practice practice and practice.
