Fan art of one of my favorite characters. I've always loved Hellboy and the universe he lives in. Big fan of the movies, as well. It's a personal project that I'm very proud of. Came out better than I've expected. ?

Few days ago I saw a photo of a new actor with all the make up that will be Hellboy in the new reboot movie(the guy from Stranger Things, can't remember his name now). So I've decided to draw my own fanart / tribute. I didn't have any plan for the pose and style, I just started sketching while using few photos and pictures for the reference.
The monster / demon is all made up by me, in the end I went for a comic book style with brighter colors with more focus on the characters. I didn't want to put many details in the background.

I used Adobe Photoshop and Wacom pro tablet. As with all my work, I start with a simple sketch and then I add separate layers on top. Hellboy and Monster have their own layers (lines, flats and highlights) and are separated in their own groups.

People really like this piece, but I can't say I had a great response on my social media accounts. As with all my work, I find it hard to find an audience but I have to keep practicing and drawing. Hope you people gonna like it. ?
