This picture has a short story. "The frog in the well came out into the open sea along with the whale. The frog will have new experiences in the sea.
I hope this new journey in the frog’s life will be filled with hope."

2 years ago, I decided to leave my company that I had worked for a long time, and started working on illustration projects. This idea came up from my feelings when I left my previous job. I just wanted to bring a lot of hope to myself starting a new job. In this work, I tried to embrace the bright color scheme using soft colors to match the theme of “Hope”.

This work is a digital painting using Photoshop software. I usually do a lot of scribbles and sketches on my notebook or iPad. Using Photoshop, I re-sketch the one that I like the most among the scribbles and sketches in large and paint it. I like using Soft oil pastel brushes in Photoshop.

I have heard people saying that my work is comforting and making them feel calm and peaceful. Working on pictures of bright subjects or theme warms my heart up and brings peace. I believe that peace feelings and calmness that I experience through my own work may be brought to other people who enjoy my project and experience the same feelings. I think I will continue to work on artworks of bright subjects in the future as well.

I easily get inspired by common things around my everyday life and try to turn it into artworks through which I can communicate with people and the world out there. I sincerely hope that more people can experience at least a moment with feelings of hope, peace, and calmness through my work. Thank you so much for reading.
