I was commissioned by Peter Pepper Products to make a suite of images showing off of their product iBooth in various environments. iBooth® is an innovative enclosure designed for today’s mobile world of interactive devices, where connection is ‘everywhere’, but privacy is limited. The product is by the way designed by the Swedish design duo Henrik Kjellberg and Jon Linström at o4i Design Studio.

I got very good support and direction from Henrik Kjellberg at o4i who of course has good knowledge about the products and how to use them in innovative and good ways, and I took it from there trying to create as nice renders as possible. It was a matter of finding a balance in beautiful composition without loosing the product focus and showing its benefits.

As always I used Cinema 4D together with Octane Render from OTOY which are my standard tools. Spent quite some time modeling and making the UVs as good as possible since I knew there would be different materials and colors on the booths and I also wanted it to look really good in close-up shots. So spending time on painting maps for fabric with stitches etc pays off later on. I also used some various models I bought for the project. The 3d-humans are from Renderpeople and AXYZ.

The project was finished just recently, but I've had some nice feedback already which is nice! But my biggest hope is that Peter Pepper receives good response when showing the images in fairs and in their marketing material convincing customers to buy this cool product! iBooth, Stackr, o4i, Peter pepper products, Octane Render, Cinema 4d, Katzenwaffe,
