Instagram has been a platform for creative people. It became a tool where people can showcase their artworks. Ecuador based Graphic designer Javier Perez 'Instagram Experiments' was a series to create something out of ordinary things. Let's see what he came up with!

This project is a simple way to create beauty from the little and common things of the life. I want the people can take a break of the saturation of the photos in general. People use this "technique" to create their own artworks to exercise the imagination and the creativity. I have achieved to work digital and traditional campaigns with important international brands.

I saw this technique from Martha Altés - a Barcelona based illustrator. Martha usually use only pencil shavings so I thought I'll changed it up a bit. Everything in the world catches my attention. On the other hand, I'm always looking for new trends in illustration and design.

I think you can describe my style as very simple and minimal. I look up to artists like Red Hong Yi, Brock Davis, Isidro Ferrer. My advice is that you take in a lot of art, movies, anything that opens up your mind to infinite possibilities. And of course: "Create every day. No matter your skills."
