Interstellar piece was created for a show in 8bit Gallery in L.A called Space Heroes. There was of course of lot of subject I could have tackle. But Interstellar was a movie that got me completely awe and in the memory of this gorgeous film I decided to take on it. Like every piece, I always start to create a moodboard. Look for images that I like and inspired me for it, in this case mostly vintage sic-fi images. Then I sketch a few things quickly in a little notebook. Once I know exactly where I'm going, I start the real sketch in Photoshop 'till the end. Everything is digital.

About Marie Bergeron

Based in Montreal, Marie started her carrier as a full time designer after completing 5 years of study in graphic design. At first, she thought that illustration was just a passion on the side and created from time to time an illustration or 2 just for fun. Then galleries started to be interested in what she does. Bottleneck Gallery was the first gallery to invite her to be part of the opening night. Fortunately for her, the owner of another gallery in L.A was there at the opening night. Felt in love with Marie's work, he also invited her to be part of a show at the opening night of the gallery. All this started to take much more space in her career as a designer and decided to concentrate herself in illustration mostly. You can find more of her works on her Behance profile or website.
