Island of the Sun - Lake Titicaca, Bolivia
The project was designed to portray people and take landscape photos of the island of the sun on Lake Titicaca, since it is an island more than 3000 meters above sea level.
An island forgotten in the middle of the highest lake in the world.
Bolivia has a Millennial culture, thousands of years ago, being able to be in this place is a unique experience, full of mystical, cultural and legends.
6 years ago I went to the island of the sun but I could not photograph it, I did not have the appropriate knowledge, so it was something I had pending.
The style and color that I draw in the photographs, are already thought to be able to fix them in post production, whenever I take a photo I am thinking about the post production, since I know what things I will manipulate afterwards.
Canon 6d.
24:105 f.4
And a lot of patience.
For editing i used Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
For the color in the shot i try to photograph as flat as possible since I give the color that I want in post production, obviously I respect the colors of the location and I try to make it as real as possible, so that the viewer can emerge in the photo.
It seems that people liked the photos, I tried to do my best to take these photos.
I believe that the photos are to be able to share with a different perspective, because we are all different and we perceive the world in a different way and another vision.
My learning was that one has to see the world with a different perspective and understand how natural light works and how you can manipulated.
