Italian Maze House Exterior is a project that I was doing after hours in my job. Mainly, the idea was to create something unique. When I started in the "Graphic industry", I was mainly using Photoshop so I thought It would be really nice to give myself a break from "trying reduce the boundaries between real photography and computer generated images" and create something more magical. The idea was simple - create base model in 3DS Max and make the whole post-production process in Photoshop - that's what I love the most. I spent few hours modeling, shading and lightning - as you can see on wireframe screen there is nothing complicated - just a few "boxes" with simple lights. More involving process was to finish this scene in Photoshop - It took me a few days to look for correct images, people, set properly background and finish details (you can see flowers on the ground, grass is much better than in a raw render and much more)

I was looking for some inspirational images in internet. My aim was to find some crazy buildings that I could use in my visualization. After many hours I found this "Italian Maze House" and I thought It would be perfect to use it in my art. I knew from the beginning that I want a night scene - there is a lot of possibilities to play with lightning, shadows and colors.
It's hard to say what was exactly my inspiration but I think main inspiration came from these amazing arts that you can find on Behance and my passion to architecture.

I think that the main reason why my arts are good is that I always push myself forward and try something new. I love what Henry Ford have said ages ago "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young."I think that is the best advice for artists I can give:
Develop your skills and don't stop - impossible is nothing!
