Finland based artist Mikhail Kalinin's illustration "Lokka" was inspired by her girlfriend. The idea was to make a gift for her on St. Valentine's day in the form of a postcards that reflects her character. So, he came up with "Lokka".

I didn't think much about details, just started to draw the first, then the second and eventually reached 5. Probably I would like to draw more, but another time I think. It turned out to be very much like her and she was thrilled.

Can't say what's my style. I think it is from the influence of modern visual culture - movies, artists, video games, advertising... Even sign boards on bars. What would I advise an artist? start a sketchbook, relax and draw. And of course learn where it is possible (schools, courses, colleges and the like).
