Mini Me lamp attracts attention by being a simple, modest object with great character.
Inspired by the slender form of a paper clip, it is equally suited to bedside table, living-room or work-desk. Produced in a variety of colours, it blends in with a host of different interiors.

I'm always trying to keep things simple avoiding unnecessary screws and keeping the form as fluid as it gets.
That was the case with Mini Me lamp which ended up being my perception of a lamp icon.
Initially produced by Italian manufacturer SpHaus it later became a part of a collection of products I produce on my own under my name.

I use 3D max to model the objects I design. After I had made the blueprints the prototype was made and it took several corrections made to a prototype to obtain the correct proportions. I had a problem choosing the right light source and finally found a halogen bulb with a (GU10 socket) suitable for the lamp. Now, with all sorts of LEDs available on the market I was able to change to a new type of bulb.

It's probably the project the most people know me for and I'm glad that the lamp still makes the people smile, both children and adults.
It's one of my first industrially produced objects with which I gained a precious experience in terms of production limitations and trading later on.
