Photographer, Maik Lipp's Mixed Minimal is composed of minimalist architectural photos collected during his travels over the years. Maik Lipp tried to isolate the beauty of the structure despite the cramped buildings.

Often the buildings are very cramped in the cities and you get the subject itself with a wide-angle lens not in the picture. So I try without distracting and disturbing elements to put parts of the building in the right scene. Many of these 'minimal'-images have accumulated in my travels. And from this I have an ongoing series started.

There are certainly numerous photos that are similar to mine. But for me it is important to have taken the photos by myself. I was there. On site. In front of the building. Have absorbed the mood. And I love graphic and geometric shapes that naturally reflected in my pictures. And last but not least the simplicity of the building.

Graphically and easily. Lines and shapes. And mostly simple colors. There are many good photographers whose images inspire me, but I do not want to emphasize one. Go with open eyes through the world. Motifs can be found everywhere.
