Organica Pure - Branding
This was a freelance logo design I did earlier on this year. The branding application was done as a personal concept. I was tasked with creating a logo for a company called Organica Pure. My concept combines the letter O and P these are more commonly known as Monograms. I have also emphasised water through the blue drop and organic/Herbal through the green leaf. I also think the logo is interesting because of the symmetry. There is an infinity symbol in the logo, this may not be obvious at first glance. The symmetry of the This could subliminally emphasise "infinite health and purity".
Nature, Health and Beauty are the main subjects/elements taken into consideration in the creation of this logo. the client was interested in a monogram logo while keeping the logo mark clean and simple. the colours where given to me by the client. Taking into consideration the fact that i was designing for a cosmetic brand, My design style followed suit. The main objective was to create a simple logo design. while keeping the logo interesting using the monogram, the infinity symbol and also the simple rotation of the water drop into a leaf.
I started my project with sketches. I use the sketching process to discover different forms and shapes which help me gain a design direction. Once I have a couple of symbols. I take images of my sketches and draw them in illustrator. Once in illustrator I refine the symmetry, line thickness and geometry of the logo. Once I'm happy with the final logo I start my process of creating mockups in photoshop. I purchased my mock ups online from
yellow images and store graphics.
People loved the symmetry and monogram logo style. I learned how clean and simple logos are so effective in conveying a strong and bold message. The client enjoyed how the logo represented the cosmetic brand. The logo also projected an organic and natural feel at first glance.
