PLAT is a dumbbell with a new usability. We designed it with a new perspective sight to harmonize with the interior. Even if don't using a dumbbell, it gets value. We designed it with a new perspective sight to harmonize with the interior.
They have counting functions when it used for conventional purposes and not in use, it functions as a desk clock. It is always possible to be an active workout partner because it is always located in a prominent location.
PLAT will roll in harmony with the interior as well.

Modern people pursue the high value of life. For them, home-training and interior value have both become an important lifestyle. However, conventional dumbbells for home training do not match the contemporary interior value.
They are not welcome anywhere even in the part of living room or the nook in a bedroom because they lose its purpose when not in use.
So we tried to give new use to the dumbbells.

We've been racking our brains for a long time to figure out the interior design. Through hundreds of sketches, the chosen shape was modeled with the Rhino 3D tool and arranged the material with a Keyshot.
He designed a new design entirely unlike traditional dumbbells.
And we process steel frame and paint color.

We received great sympathy from the user. They said they couldn't find it. Because they kept them in a corner for a long time. In addition to the dumbbells, exercise tools have changed to useless things like hangers. They said that dumbbell have new values if they were also used as a harmonious product with the interior.

The work was exhibited at the Exhibition of Product Design at the University of Hongik in 2017.
